Ector is pouring and lining up approximated versions of Sivadian Imperial Pounders of a dark alcohol with a tan foamy head. There is two huge heated serving trays with Dark Sausage-like objects and something like mashed potatoes. He calls over his shoulder, "Line up and bring you hungry kits! The first Annual Sivadian Memorial Night has started!"
Ruin makes his way into the lounge, the glowing engineer quite reserved in the convivial atmosphere. No line for food, not just yet - at least, not for him. He explores the lounge, first.
Rose arrives from Corridor B <MCV Alopex>.
Rose has arrived.
Miranda is quietly sitting near to where Ector is setting things up. There's a smile on her face, and every once in a while a hand lifts to tuck a bit of hair behind an ear. For now she's simply sipping on a glass of water, waiting for things to get started.
Eelim enters the lounge with his arm slung around another Aukami; Kallyn. The shirtless, tattooed pilot immediately sniffs the air, and his stomach grumbles. "Free food. Done." He decides, moving with drive towards the heated serving trays. "Looks decent," the thug notes as he observes the sausage and potatoes up close.
"I do hope there's a non-alcoholic beverage option," Kallyn remarks quietly as she takes in the options of the lounge. Her eyes bear a bit of blue on a field of grey as she gives Eelim a squeeze.
Rose wanders into the room, looking almost lost. She has her PDA out, and checks it consistently. The chubby sky blue lyiri looks about and gives a satisfied nod. Her slender tail swaying behind her, she moves over to the wall beside Miranda, and leans back, golden eyes watching the room carefully.
Ector announces resolutely, "These 'ARE' 'Bangers And Mash' or Britsh for Sausage and Potatoes ... the sausage is cured differently ... I hope you'll like it ... the Sausages are cured in brine then woodsmoked ... then grilled ... the potatoes have a white onion asiago gravy mixed in them ... we have black and tan beer, Crowne Apple Cider, and something close to Chai tea."
Ruin blinks, startled, as his pocket mews like a kitten. He takes out his PDA, looking over a new message. He looks around the lounge, perhaps a bit pained; he twists a ring on his finger, thinking. Then the PDA is pocketed, and he makes his way out of the lounge again.
Ruin heads into Corridor B <MCV Alopex>.
Ruin has left.
Eelim gets in line for the sausages and potatoes, turning with a smile as Ector announces the non alcohlic beverages. "There ya go." Spotting the color of her hues he leans in to give her a kiss on the cheek as he waits, then turning to grab a plate as he nears the food.
The Aukami woman returns her lover's kiss with a small smile and joins him in the search for food. Kallyn looks around absently as she does so, setting eyes on the Lyiri before her brow twitches in recognition. The blue promptly takes over, and the woman puts her plate back down. "Actually, love, I don't think I'm so hungry right now," she murmurs softly, "I might just have a nap or something."
Ikin arrives from Corridor B <MCV Alopex>.

Rose sees Kallyn in about the same way, as she scans the room, drinking in the atmosphere, the scents and the sounds of the lounge. The lyiri's tail gives a little shake, some sort of emotion that doesn't make it to her face, and she smiles a tiny smile and gives a little wave, before looking away again. When she talks, her accent is slurred, and hard to understand, her mouth working as if she were unused to using it. "It all smells... very good. Is this a celebration?" She and Miranda lean against a wall, Eelim and Kallyn making heading for where various delicious foods have been made.
Ector serves Eelim a heaping huge plate of Bangers and Mash and hands him a Black and Tan pounder and blurts, "To the glory of Sivad and those few that remember her and those few that survived her demise ... may this event be a joyous event in memory of a people that lived life to the fullest!" He motions to Miranda, "To yee who are gathered ... the Countess Deptford ... your hostess tonight. Tonight used to be a family celebration for her family. As *you* are her family now ... many happy returns!"
Ikin heads into the lounge in his usual absolutely oblivious manner. Namely, head buried in PDA, beak clicking as he mouths something to himself, and, of course, paying no bloody attention to where he's going. He's apparently also either completely oblivious to Ector's speech, or ignoring him as he takes his seat on a couch.
Miranda blinks as Ector introduces her, and straightens a bit in her seat while smiling rather brightly, "I hope you all enjoy the food and drinks." She pauses to smiles at Ector, "Thank you, darling. For all of this. You're doing a wonderful job." Then she turns back to the others and smiles again, "And I hope you all enjoy yourselves."
"Ay, c'mon bay, spend some time wit me." Eelim speaks to Kallyn, getting two buns and putting a sausage in each and then a heavy portion of potatoes, courtesy of Ector. Utensils are grabbed too, all of that set on one plate. Its when the Aukami man spots the Lyiri's wave that he turns to whisper something to Kallyn, and attempt to take her free hand to guide her to an empty table. The thug raises his beer on the second trip, "To Sivad!" He cheers, not knowing too much about the planet other than it gave him free food and booze. He looks at Kallyn before beginning to wolf down the food a bit, nudging his plate towards her in case she changes her mind about food. The beer he is given gets a long, full gulp. "No!" He replies between bites to Miranda and Ector, munch munch. "Thank -you-!"
Ector spots Ikin. He blurts, "Ikin! You were there when MOST of this was formed! Come! Help yourself! We need to talk anyways! I need help with ideas for the upcoming training ... I was going to use stunners but that leaves out the melee aspect I want to add."
The lyiri happily heads for the food as well. "To..." she struggles about the words for a moment. "The glory of Sivad. May her descendants forever walk in her honour." With that, Rose bows towards Ector. "I... hope you do not mind if I document this occasion. Particularly, I look forward to documenting some of this delicious looking food." A fanged grin lights the lyiri's face.
"Huh? Oh... Uh..." Ikin stammers slightly, "I was? Uh... Well, let me see... Well, if you wanted to use stun equipment, uh... Just use an electrified stick for swords, maybe some hotuks... Uh..." Ikin scratches his head with his non old-lady-gripped hand "Small practice knives would work for... well... knives."
Kallyn pointedly ignores Rose as she replies to Eelim's whisper with one of her own. The redhead lets out a long sigh and then nods, following along with the other Aukami without complaint. She grabs a cup of tea along the way and seats herself at the table, keeping her back to as much of the room as she can manage. She raises her tea in toast, but doesn't speak.
Ector nods to Ikin and says, "Sounds like a plan." He serves Rose as much as she'll take. He winks saucily at Miranda and says, "Makes you think of the old Mansion doesn't it? We'll have to find more reasons to throw parties."
Eelim gives a silent nod to Kallyn, continuing to hungrily eat the food set before him, accompanied by a few slugs of beer. He glances towards Ikin, before leaning back in his chair.
Miranda smiles at Ector and nods, "We will indeed. I've missed this. I just hope everyone is enjoying it." Her head tilts and she hums lightly, "I think I might have some tea...Not very hungry yet."
Kallyn's PDA buzzes as she sips her tea, the woman pulling the device from her pocket and looking it over. She types something out, sends it, and then repockets the PDA. The woman loops an arm through one of Eelim's, which he's not using to eat, and kisses the man's cheek sweetly.
Rose happily accepts a plate piled high with various delicacies, withdrawing afterwards to one of the less crowded tables, where she sits down and takes a few nervous, yet hungry mouthfuls. She puts her PDA on the table, and checks it often, tweaking information on it here and there, and writing things down. The Lyiri keeps a watchful eye on everyone she can, by contrast, her smile is warm. A stranger who gives you food, is a friend, after all.
Ikin puts his PDA away and looks around. It looks... oh god, it looks as though he's stumbled into a PARTY. The bird's feathers fluff up and he looks around at about a mile a minute, never keeping his head still for too long, quite avoiding talking to anybody as he does his best to shrink back into the couch or something.
Eelim finishes his meal, and then quickly chugs down his beer. The pilot pushes his plate and glass in the center of the table. "Damnnn....That was good as fuck." He wipes his face with a napkin, and then whispers to Kallyn discretely, before throwing a peace sign to Ikin in greeting.
"You were hungry," Kallyn remarks to the shirtless thug, giggling a little and whispering back to him as she leans into his shoulder a bit. She offers a little wave of her own Ikin's way.
Ector looks around and smiles and says, "You my *family* ... do me /honor/ ... in the most steeped way. I stand amongst people who have never known Sivad save through and a few others and they honor us and our traditions in ways that they do not realize. I am honored to go into battle with any of you."
