Narai Opo'te, born on the world Kamsho. Raised as all Opodian's are at a young age, to study their religious beliefs surrounding the goddess Opodi. The teaching resonated within Narai, there was no other 'true god'. As he aged, he studied the religions of many other species. He felt that it was prudent, that to understand other races outside of their own they must understand their religious views. Even though most races are not as fanatically driven by their spirituality, Narai feels that all being are somehow driven by their sense of righteousness - even if every other race's definition of righteousness is different. For Narai, the Opodian's act as the hand of Opodi, and are in some way divinely touched. As he matured, not only did he study other races religions and culture, he also studied history.

Background

For a time, he was a member of the Opodian military -if you would call it that. Their military was more of a religious hierarchy that acted in the name of Opodi - be it to quell religious decent, or to move on other worlds who's belief system clashed with their own. This, Narai felt, was the logical thing to do. He believed that one day a war would come, between those who were blessed by Opodi, and those who did not follow the true path to enlightenment. His views were public knowledge to his people, and he felt it prudent that, before any actions be made, that the Opodians find alliances amoung other worlds, and determine which races prove the biggest threat and report their findings back to their leaders. Narai has arrived on Comorro Station to find where to go next, and begin his search.

Description

The beast-like creature before you is not a beast, but a short bear-like creature. This Opodian stands just over five feet tall, however his high is slightly masked by the fact that this bipedal creature squats as he walks, moves and stands. The two armed creature has long, clawed arms that could be potentially dangerous if used as a weapon. The Opodian has a mainly white fur coat, with sporadic black patches on his lower body. One distinct feature this male Opodian has is that his right arm is covered completely in black fur, going up to his shoulder and partly up the right side of his neck. The bear-like muzzle of the Opodian reveals some teeth, particularly two fang-like teeth on the top of his mouth. His eyes also appear to be black. The exact age of this Opodian is difficult to determine, but it is a safe bet that it would be of middle age for its species. There is very little to say about what this Opodian wears, as he wears very little to begin with. His fur protects him from the elements, but it appears he wears some sort of ceremonial garb. A dark red cloak flows part way down the creatures back in a 'V' formation. It is held in place by a metal necklace-like piece that is attached to the cloak. Resting in part on the creatures shoulders, Attached to the cloaks shoulder piece are long pieces of fabric, no more wide then two or three inches that extend down the creatures body to the bottom of its stomach. There are some symbols sewn into the fabric.
