As No Son of Hekayt says that both B'hiri relief vessels and Hiver mercs were 'at' the Plosa Nebula, I can't imagine that all edges of the nebula are that tightly-ringed with rock. Just that the nebula is a big place that screws with sensors, and thus taking 'the long way around' would require losing the little ship from sensors. As No Son of Hekayt says that both B'hiri relief vessels and Hiver mercs were 'at' the Plosa Nebula, I can't imagine that all edges of the nebula are that tightly-ringed with rock.
