Overview
The crafting system allows players to use a finite quantity of saga points to make clothing, weapons, armor, and electronics for use in the game.
First Things First
+items: Lists crafting categories.
+items (category): Lists the craftable items in that category.
+consider (item): Lists the details of the specified object, including the cost of saga points, the skills you'll need, the equipment, and the components. You must type the full name of the item.
Equipment
You can get basic equipment from a shop in the tradeport in Comorro, or purchase higher quality equipment from PCs (player characters). Workbenches are set up in tradeport as well.
Components
Nodes
Components are gleaned from resource nodes on the grid. Publicly (ICly) known nodes are:
- Textile Potential Node: In the Rural Outskirts area of Aureus on Pyracan.
- Mineral Potential Node: In the volcano on Fortrain. (This also has a Toxic Environment Node, necessary for getting Polydenum.)
- Chemical Potential Node: In the Waste Management chamber of Comorro Station.
- Timber Potential Node: In Triumverate Park on Hekayt Prime.
Once you're in the same room as the node and have all of the equipment you need in your inventory, type +craft (item) to create the component. Don't forget to pick it up!
Then, once you have all of the components, and you're in the same room as the required workbench (if required), type +craft (item) to create your item. Crafted items will have Crafter tags - identifiers for the character who made them.
+einfo (item): Displays vital statistics of an item, such as a gun's damage output.
+get (item): Picks up an item in the room.
+give (item) to (person): Gives an item to a player.
+pay (number) credit to (player name): Pays a player credits.
+drop (item): Drops an item.
+equip (item): Equips an item.
+look: This command is used for looking at one's own items.
+look (player): This command lists another player's description and equipped objects.
Players can customize names and descriptions of their items without using up saga points:
+name (item)=(custom name)
+desc (item)=(custom description)
