− | ==Overview==
| |
− |
| |
− | Widely considered the most dangerous predator on B'hira, the Osousagi is the natural predator of the [[Ice Snake]] and the only animal to recognize when an [[Ice Snake]] is just hibernating, and not dead. A fact it takes advantage of.
| |
− |
| |
− | Weighing in averagely at 680 kg(1,500 lbs), it can be very surprising to discover just how fleet of foot the Osousagi is. This combination of speed, strength and size makes it's status of most dangerous well warranted.
| |
− |
| |
− | Skeletal structure is quite similar to that of a rabbit, giving it the additional ability of long, powerful leaps.
| |
− |
| |
− | A long, slender snout bearing powerful jaws and sharp fangs leads into a sloped brow with a relatively flat crown. The front legs are a bit thicker than the hind legs, paws sporting short, stubby fingers and long, wicked claws. The fingers of these paws give the Osousagi a limited ability to grasp onto food and objects, but they lack an opposable thumb making more complex functions impossible. The ears are long and slender, though thickly furred which makes them appear bigger than they actually are. Tails are short and stubby, lending to very little movement.

| |
− | Several fur varieties are present, ranging from pure white, to pure, light grey with any combination of the two possible. No distinct markings are common. Their hides are very thick and leathery, giving them a distinct advantage when it comes to the [[Ice Snake]]'s venom, due to the difficulty in fully piercing their hides.
| |
− |
| |
− | The immense difficulty in killing an Osousagi makes it's fur very valuable and rare.

− | ==RP Guidelines==
| |
− |
| |
− | Much like the [[Ice Snake]], Osousagi are meant to be very dangerous and difficult to deal with, thus on average skills should be rolled at a Legendary level for them. They are solitary creatures except in breeding time, therefor, it would be exceedingly rare to find more than one together, let alone working together towards a common goal.
