Location Description
The main structure of the central spaceport for the San Angeles megalopolitan region is a massive geodesic dome illuminated with lights of green and blue, barbed with several spires that rise as high as sixty feet above the crest of the dome.
Several secure landing pads are arrayed around the south perimeter of the dome, overlooking the bay. Parking decks flank the building to east and west. The nearest sector of the great cityscape sprawls to the north.
The spaceport is named after Joshua Drescher, the 50th president of the United States, who was elected in 2032 and was famed for advancing the military so that it used four-legged mechanized war machines. He also successfully chartered an amendment to the Constitution that coupled receipt of Congressional benefits with mandatory weekends spent cleaning up litter on roadsides and serving in food kitchens.
