Brakir

The chief deity among Demarians is Brakir, an ancient god who is credited with bringing water to the desert wastes, drawing up the Stubtooth Mountains to provide cool heights, and sprinkling the planet with padraki desert bumblers and other comestibles. He is described as being fifteen feet tall, with tiger stripes, teeth like long swords and claws like scythes. It is said that on those rare occasions when it rains on the fringes of the Sand Mother Desert, Brakir is weeping for lost Demarian souls.
