History

The IGS Sandstorm is the first of its kind. The Sandstorm is the Idaran Military's attempt at a heavy destroyer, and comes with heavy armaments, state of the art weapon generators, and relatively powerful engines, at the cost of shield and hull strength. It was commissioned and put into service on 23 October, 2654, and shortly after given to Officer Xul'Quaras of the Imperial Guard Special Forces to command. The ship, being relatively new, has not yet proven itself in battle, but carries the high hopes of the Hegemonic Military on its shoulders.
