History
The Venom Class is the first Heavy Destroyer to be built by the Hegemonic Military. While somewhat lacking in shield and hull strength, its weapon systems and armaments are more than enough to make up for it. The first ship of this class was built and put into service in 2654 and has been serving as the Hegemonic Military's only Heavy Destroyer yet.
Examples of Venom Class ships that are in service are the IGS Sandstorm.
