Busy day in the landing cavern of Reslilience it seems, with little Ungstir running hither and yon. And thus the landing party of Zu, Vessa, and Lorelei arrive!
Lorelei had been rather quiet the past twenty four hours, clearly something weighing on her mind, but the return to this odd place seemed to snap her out of it, as she just began to look about with wonder "It never gets dull does it?" she says rhetoricly.
Vessa steps out behind Lore, "Nope, never dull." she says grinning and looking around.
Zu merely rides the shoulder of Vessa onto the planet and replies to Lore with a hint of a smirk "Does it get dull anywhere?"
Lorelei smirks and nods "Well, The Cro can get quiet" she says softly. Flicking through a file or two on her PDA, Lorelei hrmms, but keeps her thoughts to her self.
Vessa chuckle, "That is true, but it is always fun though. The Cro is always busy at least." looking around she tries to keep her shoulder, hopefully Zu is on the left one as the right is still injured. Looking at Lore then Zu she says, "You two are quiet today."
Zu smirks a bit more to Lore and notes "Clearly you don't hang around me very often. I haven't had an uneventful day all this week."
Lorelei lifted her head to look to Vessa, "Yeah...Not much to talk about...given the current course of things" she said forcing a smile, "Besides... its.." she said tapping her head near the data jack she had in the socket, the light on the antenna blinking. "Its ...gotten a bit crouded in here since last night...something on the wireless hemoraging code....not sure what it is yet..." she said with a smirk before looking to Zu and just nodding "Well..Ive had my fair share of holding tanks" she laughed "I'll pass on more"
Vessa sighs and nods at that, "Yeah, things are crazy. Er crowded?" she looks over to Zu, "Hmmm, and what sort of eventful?"
Zu grimaces a bit at that and replies "The trial kind. Those things aren't exactly work unintensive, you know. Even if you are innocent."
Lorelei nodded to vessa. "Somethings been squalking some form of data bursts....got stronger when we engaged the rift drive....I cant seem to make heads or tails of it..but the code is.....familiar..." she said "It...it seems like some kind of garbled distress signal, but its so degraded it could have come from anywhere.....years ago really" she continued as she looked down into the PDA again. "Its just....theres more to it that i cant seem to decode...theres not enough signal strength to get a good look at it..."
Vessa is standing with Lore just outside the Filte with Zu on her left shoulder and chatting. "Oh? Should we try and send a rescue? I would rather like to help if we can." she nods to Zu, "I was off looking for lawyers, I wasn't sure how long we had to find any but they pulled a fast one on me and did the trial before we were ready. I am just glad you were found innocent."
Zu nods in reply and notes to Vessa "I might not exactly be qualified to be a lawyer, but I'm good enough in a pinch it seems. Must just be my absolutely charming personality." He doesn't seem like he's all that interested in the distress call, but that might just be because there sin't anything he can do with it at the moment.
Sadie lands and walks out of the Gail, hobbling on her crutches still. She sees Vessa first, then Lorelei, then Zu. "ZU!" She yells as she hobbles over to him. "I'm so glad you're back!"
"Ma'am...the problem is..I cant find it" she says pulling up a map of known space on her PDA. "Its almost like its coming from everywhere. As if it was jumping from point to point or something....If its a ship in need....they got it bad..." she finished before raising her eyes to Sadie in acknowlegment before looking back down to the PDA. "I mean....I can try to lock it down...but its going to take some work........."
Vessa tilts her head at Zu, "Eh, I am glad you got off. I do want to hear what happened though at some point. By the way, I would like i f you took Conner under your wing, helped her get started really. She now has a PDA that should help." Smiling brightly as Sadie steps, or rather hobbles off. "Hey there Sadie, welcome to Ungstir, or at least that is what is called on the systems." she nods to Lore, "Please try and find a way to get there, we should help if we can."
Zu says, "looks back to Sadie as his name is called and proceeds tohop from Vessa to her sister, before replying to Vessa "Certainly. It would be my pleasure. As for what happened the trial should have arecord somewhere. It was self-defense." To Sadie he notes "Good to be back, too.""
Sadie maneuvers herself on her crutches to nod to Vessa, then reaches up and pets Zu if he allows it. "I missed ya! So what are we doin' here?"
