Risky relief routed

"When Hideg Fekretu destroyed Nemonus, he also destroyed most of the medical supplies fit for Nemoni use," said MRO's executive director, Fisk Zeig Urtigorbalatoveil. "Most, but not all. MRO supplied the funding for a network of brave and resourceful people to locate emergency rations and medical supplies, procure those supplies and move them to where they could be distributed."Zeig declined to state who was a part of this "network" or how exactly they found those resources, and did not explain his unusually tight lips. However, those who have aligned with the controversial fisk -- a Hekayti religious leader responsible for the spiritual well-being of a population roughly the size of a province or megalopolis -- in the past have become targets for retaliation by the Koltkamir's Zar Hideg Fekretu."It is important for the universe to know that there are those willing to help one another, even in dark times," said Zeig. "If the Zar will cease persecuting those brave few, he will be opening the door for MRO to similarly fund medical aid, and projects for the restoration of basic services, to the innocents hurt by the terrorist attacks on Kamsho."
Svajone introduces integration teams

"The formation of these groups is simply formalizing a structure to assist new Outverser arrivals in adjusting to their new found circumstances." Details of the integration teams indicate that they are centered around individual efforts to provide Outversers with a fundamental understanding of Hiverspace as well as place them in contact with relevent Svajone station placement personnel."As the Outverser government, it is our moral imperative to provide our fellow Outversers, old and new, with the tools and connections neccessary to thrive in this environment." the spokesman said.
Historic meeting planned

In addition, and quite strangely, hand-delivered messages have been going out to various community leaders. All of these things indicate a large gathering to be held in the Diplomatic Hub of Comorro Station, at 08:00 PM, 15 DEC 2009. The posters call for all concerned citizens to gather there, and indicate that a formal construction of government is being suggested. All inquiries in the matter pointed to Razorback Cliffwalker, of Demaria. Approached for comment, the Demarian was quite vocal."With yet anotherrr enemy sseeking to dominate the rrregion, it is time that the frrree peoples of Hiverrrsspasce bind togetherrr, Outverrrsserrr and otherrrwise. Too long have we run about purrrssuing our own agendas. If we continue to do sso, we sshall be gobbled up one by one. Comorro meeting deemed success

The gathering was surprisingly civil, despite many differing opinions being presented, and some progress was actually made. Several of the gathering's members pledged either themselves, their resources, or both, to a defense force whose aim would be to help keep the trade routes open, thereby ensuring a steady stream of much-needed supplies to the Yaralu that so many call home
KOLTKAMIR FLEET REBELLION
Posted By: Brody Article: DEC09-5 Reported To: VOA Reported On: Aukam Reported At: Thu Dec 24 19:41:27 3009 MULTVAROS, AUKAM - The surviving ships of the Koltkamir fleet are no longer responding to orders issued by Zar Hideg Fekretu.In a statement issued this evening to neutral offworld news agencies, the fleet commander, Vard Bokren, had this to say: "Since the arrival of the outverser warship Merciless, it has become apparent that the Zar has only his interests at heart when it comes to the use of the fleet assets. I, on the other hand, just don't care to see the fleet get chewed up by that monstrosity. Besides, these are nice ships with competent crews. I think I could put them to better use."
Zar flees Multvaros
Posted By: Brody Article: DEC09-6 Reported To: VOA Reported On: Aukam Reported At: Thu Dec 24 19:54:43 3009 MULTVAROS, AUKAM - Soon after hearing that he no longer enjoyed the protection of the Koltkamir fleet, Zar Hideg Fekretu fled the fortified temple that he has called home these past several months.Accompanied only by members of his trusted personal guard, the former Zar is believed to have left the city for the wilds of the surrounding jungle.Although no instructions are in place for the orderly transition to a new government, representatives of the disbanded Cepelem governing council are already gathering to discuss what comes next for their world.
