Hall and his team concocted a poisonous drug combination to kill the creature.Power has now been restored to all sections of Comorro. "However, I will not be remembered as the Toveil who could have ministered on Comorro but did nothing."It will be the first visit of a high-level Hekayti functionary since tensions began to mount between Hekayti and the new Aukami Zar. With the death of Jinsi Hjernlyskogtoveil in the recent Medlidikke attacks, there has not been a Hekayti priest on the living station to administer Worthing tests to young Hekayti or to provide guidance to adults. No official replacement for the recently deceased cleric is forthcoming from Hekayt.High-level Hekayti sources say the planetary government has not endorsed the visit, but will not interfere.

Currently only authorized Svajone personnel are being permitted access to the area. "They're demolecularizing parts." Falar defies Zar

Posted By: Colchek Article: JUL09-16 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Wed Jul 22 19:17:29 3009 CLOUDSTAR, FALAR - In response to recent actions and edicts by the Zar, the Falari High Council has issued an edict of their own, adopting a stance that parallels that of the Hekayti."The Zar's thinly veiled attempts to establish himself as supreme ruler of the universe are inexcusable, and his attempts to establish dominance over our world by claiming artifacts that may or may not be of Kamir origin are hereby denied." stated High Elder Talafar. "Falar is a sovereign world and shall remain so. No petty dictator will ever establish 'influence' over us, Aukami or otherwise."Following the Elder's words, the Falar defense forces began regular patrols of the Falar system and surrounding worlds. "Ships allied with the Zar are subject to challenge and search upon entering our territory." stated Commander Falron of the Falar Defense Fleet. "Any attempts to subvert our territory by force or otherwise will be met with equal force."

Nemonus Breaks Alliance With Zar

Posted By: Colchek Article: JUL09-17 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Wed Jul 22 21:46:42 3009 OLERIA CITY, NEMONUS - One of the early worlds to ally itself with the Zar, the Nemoni Senate has voted to terminate the alliance in response to recent demands by the Zar to hand over their national monument. The obelisk which sits in their city has been determined to be part of a Kamir artifact, and as such the Zar has dispatched agents to claim this artifact in his name.In response, the Nemoni Star Force recalled forces currently fighting on various Elyssian fronts to defend their homeworld, and Oleria City was subsequently evacuated along with the artifact. "Although we may be small in stature, our resolve is unshakable, and this blatant attempt to interfere with our national character will not be tolerated." stated President Tyrone Malcon. Some speculate that the recent Falari declaration of defiance also contributed to this change of heart by the Nemoni. Given the Nemoni's ability to hide nearly anywhere, acquiring this artifact will now present quite a challenge to the Zar.

Zar disappointed

Such behavior will be answered with appropriate measures."

FLASH: KOLTKAMIR FLAGSHIP ASSAULTS NEMONUS

Posted By: Colchek Article: JUL09-19 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Fri Jul 24 18:14:37 3009 At 17:00 Galactic Standard Time this evening, the newly completed flagship of the Koltkamir fleet arrived at Nemonus orbit, proceeding to bombard over a dozen cities from orbit including the capitol of Oleria City. Death tolls are estimated at approximately 350 million.Shortly after the bombardment completed, the Zar issued a statement. "The insult to the Koltkamir by the Nemoni, as well as their defiance, has been repaid. Their leaders have 24 hours to deliver the artifact into Koltkamir hands, or their world will be reduced to a barren wasteland."Reports indicate that the NSF launched a full scale assault upon the flagship using nearly their entire home defense force, but suffered over 90 percent casualties and were forced to withdraw. The remaining forces as well as scores of civilian vessels managed to flee the planet. The flagship remains in orbit, weapons trained on the surface of Nemonus, to await the reponse of the government.

Priest plans prayer plenary

Posted By: Brody Article: JUL09-20 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Fri Jul 24 20:05:36 3009 COMORRO STATION - Controversial cleric Fisk Zeig Urtigorbalatoveil tells CNB that he will hold a prayer service tonight at 2200 Comorro time in memoriam of the 350-million Nemoni believed to have died in the Koltkamir's decimation of the tiny race's homeworld."The strength of a soul is not determined by the size of the body," said Fisk Zeig. "There are 350 million traumatically ended lives now caught between a universe we know and a universe we don't. All free-thinking beings of faith are invited to join in a service to honor their deaths as the deaths of martyrs, and to pray for their successful passage into whatever reality might next await them," Fisk Zeig said in a statement. The prayer service will be held in the Comorrite Hub of the ancient space traveler.Hekayti government spokesbeings could not immediately be reached for comment. Sources on Hekayt say the powers that be in the planet's honor-bound warrior society were not consulted before the priest, one of a very few among the Toveil clerical caste who believe in existence after death for any but the most revered upper crust of Hekayti society, made his announcement.

Religiosity riles rage?

Posted By: Brody Article: JUL09-21 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Sat Jul 25 10:36:49 3009 COMORRO -- During a prayer service for the 350-million Nemoni who died by the hand of Zar Hideg Fekretu, a renegade Hekayti cleric seemed to be calling for open aggression against the Koltkamir."Let us kneel and offer them our support. Our silent vow that they may pass on in honor and be troubled no more; that their deaths are our concern; that their peace has found stewards in us. Kneel now in silence to promise to them that they may have faith that tyranny will find an end," said Fisk Zeig Urtigorbalatoveil, who led the service. The spiritual leader of a small outlying Hekayti mining colony, Fisk Zeig has said he will remain on Comorro for an indeterminate amount of time to tend to the spiritual needs of the Hekayti there. But he is also apparently ministering to Outversers; several of them participated in the service, one even brandishing a sword as if ready to take on the Zar herself. Also spotted in the congregation was Ribas Salek, the Llivori freighter captain outlawed from his homeworld for his rejection of the Zar's rule."Hekayti are warriors," said Molas Gatel, a noted Llivori scholar in the field of xenobiology, "Hekayti theology is rooted in the idea of noble struggle. It is fair to say that if there is any implication towards aggression in a Toveil's speech, it indicates the direction he thinks the struggle should take." Gatel has given no position on the Zar.In a brief ceremony that drew a sizeable crowd in Comorro's living spaces, Fisk Zeig again espoused the controversial and not widely held belief that people other than the Hekayti upper crust linger in this universe after life. The service, he said, was partially intended to help will the dead Nemoni to their next lives. -- HOLOVID CLIP: "And I believe that the will of a people, the will of this assembly here today, can urge the Nemoni who have died just hours ago that they can pass on. That they can trust their children to us," Zeig says. He lifts up his hands. "If you can find a single shred of faith in this universe, then will the Nemoni who have died to find peace. If you can find a shred of faith in this universe, then have faith that they have not died in vain. And will them to their afterlife." --For the second time today, Hekayt officials declined to comment.

Opodians killed in strange accident

Posted By: Brody Article: JUL09-22 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Kamsho Reported At: Mon Jul 27 22:56:11 3009 KAMSHO - The fates of the crew of the missing Aukami owned and Opodian operated vessel, Opodi's Pride, that went missing on a trade run to Aukam, has finally been confirmed.A Lotorian salvage vessel discovered the drifting hulk of the freighter yesterday, and the final resting place of the crew, who appeared to have died from asphyxiation due to running out of fuel while adrift and having the life support shut down. The missing ship was towed to Aukam, where the Lotorian crew handed it back to the rightful owners and port services for closer inspection to ascertain the last few minutes of the crew. Yiln'zo Trelkj, who is in charge of the investigation, had this to say, "The ship was a death trap. It had faulty wiring and other mechanical problems. This prevented the other members of the crew entering into engineering, after the engineer had locked it from the inside. Emergency tools, that should have been present for situations like this, had been sold. The ship's manifest and records, show that these tools had been sold for fuel, gems and religious icons that they wished to try and sell."Reports from Aukam Port Services also show that while the main tank was empty, the ship's reserve tank was still full and the ship had failed to undergo refits. Among the goods they recovered from the freighter was a large shrine to Opodai, that appears to have been made out of gold and other valuable materials.Preliminary findings suggest that the engineer was responsible for the deaths of the crew, after sealing engineering internally, not maintaining electrical systems and conducting himself in a manner that endangered the crew. His cause of death is believed auto-erotic asphyxiation, due to port services finding him with an airtight bag around his head."It is terrible that something like this has occurred," said a spokesman for the shipping company that owned the Opodi's Pride. "We had known that the ship was making a loss for several months, though we hadn't of expected their religious beliefs to be so fanatical that they would end up losing their lives over worship. We also didn't know that they had let the ship end up in such a terrible condition. If we had known they were operating such a dangerous vessel, we would have terminated the lease."

Koltkamir Fleet Attempts To Breach Falar Blockade

Posted By: Colchek Article: JUL09-23 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Tue Jul 28 20:24:32 3009 FALAR- Earlier this afternoon, a Koltkamir force under the command of Vard Bokren was reported to have launched an assault upon the security cordon recently installed around the Falari system. After an intense battle, the fleet was repelled; however the Falar forces took heavy casualties in the process."This is only the first of many strikes we shall make against the traitors." Commander Bokren said in a statement. "We will find their weak points, and we will crush them." Experts say that the damage done will be difficult to replace in time to repel the next assault, thus leaving the fate of the Falar system in question at this time.Further reports indicate that several civilian vessels were among the losses. Among these vessels was the Windstar, a vessel owned and operated by the small family business of Windstar Transport Services. The owner and CEO, Hulsari, a prominent Falari businessman, was confirmed to be aboard, along with his family. All hands were lost. A memorial service for Hulsari and all the others lost was planned for later this evening.

Vessel found drifting victim of attack?

Posted By: Brody Article: JUL09-24 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Kamsho Reported At: Wed Jul 29 08:14:41 3009 A medium freighter Nebula Traveler out of Kamsho has gone missing, the ship failed to make a scheduled stop at an asteroid mining station yesterday. The Zhunak Collective, a Lotorian trade collective which owns and operates the ship, has reported that a search and rescue vessel found the cargo ship drifting on the edge of a system near its scheduled trade route. Apparently a portion of the ship's engines were disabled and some cargo was missing, but no official statement yet on what happened. A spokesperson did confirm that all seven members of the Nebula Traveler's crew were found aboard, there were no survivors. This incident may be yet another of the many attacks on shipping vessels in recent months. There is speculation but no hard facts as to whether these attacks are related to the Medlidikke pirates, whose operations near the Rigor Strand are well known, or if it is simply another group taking advantage of the current political and military conflict. Trade and transport ships are being encouraged to show caution when traveling in the region.
