Old Weapons

6.5mm Battle Rifle

  • Description: This rifle is a sturdy looking construction, crafted out of high grade polymer pieces which make it both lighter and sturdier than traditional metal weapons as well as very durable. It seems to have been kept in good condition. The rifle itself is of a bullpup design; the magazine and action are both located behind the trigger. The weapon fires 6.5mm bullets, 30 of which are held in the magazine. The standard length of the weapon is about 775mm, with its regular barrel measuring 550mm long, pushing it almost into the realm of battle rifles, though it further has a foregrip in the front for control sustained automatic fire. There are four firing modes - safe, semi-auto, burst and fully automatic. The standard colour is a camoflauged urban which can also be changed easily. Both the top and bottom of the barrel are fixed with rails to slide any attachments on. A detachable reflex sight is positioned near the middle of the weapon, allowing quick aquisition of targets while folded iron sights are near the tip of the barrel. The double action trigger has a significant pull on it and is more suited to an experienced shooter, as is the kick of the weapon. This weapon's been outfitted with a small, coverable display near its reflex scope, indicating its status.
  • Information: It is a bullpup design with a double action trigger and a magazine capacity of thirty cased bullets. Because of the bullpup design, the weapon is able to have a very elongated barrel while still remaining within the bounds of a normal assault rifle. Its overall length is 775mm whereas if it was not bullpup it would be upwards of 1000mm. The barrel is 550mm long, while the folding butt stock is 6 cm across. It is gas operated, with a rotating bolt. One of the unique features about this weapon are an improved blow back shifted pulse system, allowing it to deliver a three shot burst in an exceptionally tight area. The first shot is delivered with the standard gas operated bolt, while the second and third operate of recoil alone, thus eliminating this recoil completely from firing. Any shots fired after the third are switched back to gas. %r%r%tThe weapon's rate of fire is 800 RPM. The excellent bullet dynamics of the 6.5mm cartridge give it a significant boost in armour piercing and velocity capabilities over standard cartridges (5.56mm) while its flat flying trajectory makes it superior to 7.62mm. It also tends to keep its velocity much better than either of the two major cartridges at ranges upwards of six hundred meters, therefore increasing the utility of this as a longer range rifle as well as a close weapon. This makes the gun ideal for a modular configuration, for which it is equipped. While the above measurements are standard, they can be swapped out for shorter or longer barrels, and the weapon is equipped with a rail on top and on bottom of the barrel so that standard attachments can be snapped on.

AAI "Equality" DS Pistol

  • Description: On the small end for a pulse pistol, this unique weapon is rugged and blocky, has been competently maintained and is in good condition. Crafted from luna grey reinforced composites, it has a pistol grip which is wrapped with a knurled rubber covering, to provide more sure handling. In addition the top of the barrel is padded, the lower portion has an ergonomic cut out, improving stability and accuracy. The weapon's power cell is slotted in from beneath the grip, allowing for a quick exchange of cells during combat. A single LED telltale monitors remaining energy within the clip and and a second warns of possible overheating. This pistol requires a three second initial powering up sequence, which is accompanied by a soft and low hum.
  • Information: Manufactured by Armstrong Arms, the Armstrong Arms Intergalaxial Equality Doubleshot pulse pistols are designed with the average pulse pistol user in mind. Small, straightforward, sleek, and designed to never need repair, one can slip an Equality into your pocket or purse and forget about it until it's needed. The company installed its revolutionary Titanlightning(tm) charger in this model, allowing the weapon to charge an average of two seconds faster than its contemporaries, and allowing the user to take two shots before recharging.

AAI "Purification" US Plasma Cannon

  • Description: This stubby weapon has a short barrel wrapped in plasma accelerator rings and a perforated heat shield. Plasteel mounts are set above the barrel allowing it to be fixed to some sort of rifle. The mounts are not universal, though, which only allows for it to be secured to a pulse or projectile type rifle - not either or. The energy cell loading port is located just behind the trigger assembly at the rear of the weapon. An ambidextrous lever safety and charge display located on either side of the weapon accommodate right or left handed firers. The metal leaf sight has an incorporated IR laser for night firing.
  • Information: This weapon is designed to be used in conjunction with some sort of rifle which it mounts under. It primarily functions as a close range anti-personal weapon, but it is also commonly used in breaching or against light skinned vehicles; although, the range is too short to make it a truly effective anti-armor weapon. The plasma technology used is the same as a plasma rifle on a more compact scale. It has limited civilian use and is almost exclusively confined to the military community. Notes: This weapon utilizes a smaller power cell than standard plasma rifles, and it has a two power cell capacity. For great, superb, and legendary models a third shot can be stored internally in the weapon for brief periods. This weapon typically takes one combat round to recharge.

BKMS 530 Battle Rifle

  • Description: Sturdy and stocky, this battlefield rifle has been competently maintained and is in good condition. It is is almost four feet long, with a reinforced composite casing protecting its heavy duty electronics and optics. The primary trigger assembly is set almost at the weapon's midpoint and second trigger point is located just ahead of the stock. This, along with heavy duty rubber padding sculpted into the primary grip and barrel, provides flexibility in both firing position and balance. Reflecting its simple and pragmatic nature the rifle only has two telltales. The first telltale uses a simple color shift to indicate the current capacity of the power cell while the second is a dark red overheating warning signal. The weapon's power cell slots in just behind the trigger guard.
  • Information: Manufactured by Boromov Technologies, the Boromov-Kalashnikov 530 Series pulse weapons are designed to be combat effective while remaining reliable, resistant to damage and easy to maintain. To do so the internal electronics and optics are encased in a titanium reinforced composite casing. While adding to the weapon's overall weight, this heavy duty construction has resulted in a weapon with a proven ability in withstanding damage and abuse. This and its durable construction has also seen it being used as a very effective club in close quarters combat. The standard longarm of the Ungstiri Militia, the weapons weight and initial clumsiness makes it many a new recruit's nightmare. In order to simplify its maintenance, the 530 Battle Rifle shares many components and design features of the 530M Assault Rifle and the 630 'Soldat' series small arms. This includes primary optics, triggering mechanisms and and housing design. Thus parts for any of these weapons are interchangeable. A cornerstone to this philosophy is that the entire range or weapons can use the same power cells, which come in 5, 10 or 50 shot capacities. The power cell fitting is one standard in the engineering field, giving the weapon the ability to use power cells of different capacities and manufacture. The technology used in the weapons is simple and time proven, resulting in a solid performing weapon. The weapon is designed to be atmosphere cooled, and has an automatic shut off if the weapon begins to overheat. One unique characteristic of this weapon is an internal capcitance cell, which, once initially powered, maintains a surplus of energy, enough for a single bolt. Experienced riflemen will not expend this charge, banking it against the recycling time normally required when an expended power cell is jettisoned and a new one slotted in. Common accessories used with the BK-MS 530 battle rifle include a bi-pod which mounts just just forward of the trigger guard, a 50 shot capacity clip, and a variety of both passive and active targeting devices. While the rifle comes standardly equipped with a small targeting laser unit, for sniper duties this laser is often replaced with one that does not use a beam within the visible spectrum, which can only be used in conjunction with specialized sighting devices. The weapon reflects the environment of the Rock, and is fully rated for zero gee and null atmosphere combat, and its grips and triggers sized for use with atmosphere, worksuit and survival suit gloves.

BKMS 530M Assault Rifle

  • Description: Short, compact and rugged, this assault weapon has been competently maintained and is in good condition. It has a reinforced composite casing protecting its heavy duty electronics and optics, its shape and configuration betraying its close relationship to the larger Boromov-Kalashnikov battlefield rifle. The primary trigger assembly is set at the weapon's midpoint and center of mass, with a second trigger point located just ahead of its very short stock. Along with heavy duty rubber padding sculpted into the primary grip and barrel, this provides flexibility in both firing position, balance and improves ease of use. The weapon's power cell slots in just behind the trigger guard, allowing for a smooth, quick and positive change over of cells under harsh conditions. Both the weapon's grips and operation are designed for use bare handed or with heavy gloves. The rifle has a built in carrying handle, slotted for manual targeting. Reflecting its simple and pragmatic nature there are only two telltales on the rifle itself. The first telltale uses a simple color shift to indicate the current capacity of the power cell while the second is a dark red overheating warning signal. It requires a five second initial powering up sequence, which is accompanied by a soft and low hum.
  • Information: Manufactured by Boromov Technologies, the Boromov-Kalashnikov 530 Series pulse weapons are designed to be combat effective while remaining reliable, resistant to damage and easy to maintain. The assault rifle variant was developed after the BKMS 530 battlefield rifle and incorporates a series of improvements resulting from experience with the other weapon. First and foremost the casing was lightened. While the internal electronics and optics are still encased in a fiber reinforced composite casing, the titanium frame was removed. In addition the weapon was significantly shortened, which also made it significantly easier to handle in close combat situations. In order to simplify its maintenance, the 530M Assault Rifle shares many components and design features of the 530 Battle Rifle and the 630 'Soldat' series small arms. Common accessories used with the BK-MS 530M assault rifle includes a small targeting laser mounted below the primary discharge port, and the weapon is normally used with a 50 shot capacity clip. Boromov-Kalashnikov also manufactures a clip to stack two power cells, and experienced riflemen have learned to use the clip instead of duct tape. The weapon reflects the environment of the Rock, and is fully rated for zero gee and nul atmosphere combat, and its grips and triggers sized for use with atmosphere, worksuit and survival suit gloves.

BKMS 630B Assault Pistol

  • Description: Larger than a normal pistol but smaller than an assault rifle, this unique weapon is rugged and blocky, has been competently maintained and is in good condition. Crafted from dark gray reinforced composites. It has a pistol grip which is wrapped with a knurled rubber covering, to provide more sure handling. In addition the top of the barrel is padded, the lower portion has an ergonomic cut out and second forward mounted grip allows for two handed use, improving stability and accuracy. The weapons power cell is slotted in from beneath, allowing for a quick exchange of cells during combat. A single LED telltale monitors remaining energy within the clip and and a second warns of possible overheating. This pistol requires a five second initial powering up sequence, which is accompanied by a soft and low hum.
  • Information: Manufactured by Boromov Technologies, the Boromov-Kalashnikov 630 Soldat Series pulse pistols are designed to be dependable and effective in the harshest conditions. A fiber reinforced composite casing protects its electronics and optical systems and is also resistant to abuse. The 630B was created at the request of the Ungstiri Militia to fufill a specific operational niche; to provide a weapon for starfighter pilot and vehicle commanders more powerful than the standard issue pistol but smaller and more compact than the regular issue battle rifles or assault rifles. While limited in manufacture, the 630B has proven quite effective in its role. In order to simplify its maintenance, the 630 series pistols share many components and design features of both the BKMS 530 series long arms and the other models in its line. This includes similar optics, triggering mechanisms and casing. Thus parts for any of these weapons are readily interchangeable. A cornerstone to this philosophy is that the entire range of 530 and 630 weapons can use the same power cells, which come in 5, 10 or 50 shot capacities. The powercell fitting is one standard in the engineering field, giving the weapon the ability to use power cells of different capacities and manufacture. The most common accessory used with this BK-MS Soldat series pistol is a small targeting laser mounted below the primary discharge port. The weapon reflects the environment of the Rock, and is fully rated for zero gee and nul atmosphere combat, and its grips and triggers sized for use with atmosphere, worksuit and survival suit gloves.

BKMS 630D

  • Description: Blocky, rugged and large, this dull gray pistol has been competently maintained and is in good condition. Crafted from reinforced composites, creating a weapon designed to take a great deal of abuse and remain operational. Its optics and power systems are located forward of the sculpted trigger guard and grip, which is wrapped with a knurled rubber covering, providing more sure handling. The weapons power cell is slotted in from beneath, allowing for a quick exchange of cells during combat. Its standard fitting allows the use of cells of varying capacity, however the larger power cells tend to off balance the weapon and reduce accuracy. One LED telltale monitors remaining energy within the clip and a second warns of possible overheating. A single dial toggles from a stun and full damage settings. This pistol requires a five second initial powering up sequence, which is accompanied by an initial soft and low hum.
  • Information: Manufactured by Boromov Technologies, the Boromov-Kalashnikov 630 Soldat Series pulse pistols are designed to be dependable and effective in the harshest conditions. The Midvet or "Bear" pistols are found in both civilian and military police work, and can toggle between deadly force and stun settings. A fiber reinforced composite casing protects its electronics and optical systems and is also resistant to abuse. In order to simplify its maintenance, the 630 series pistols share many components and design features of both the BKMS 530 series long arms and the other models in its line. Indeed, the casing for the 530D Midvyet pistol is almost identical to the 630S making the two very hard to tell apart by sight. The only difference is the presensce of a dial toggle for selecting the weapons setting. The pistol family also shares similar primary optics and triggering mechanisms. Thus parts for any of these weapons are interchangeable. A cornerstone to this philosophy is that the entire range of 530 and 630 weapons can use the same power cells. The powercell fitting is one standard in the engineering field, giving the weapon the ability to use power cells of different capacities and manufacture. As with the 630S pulse pistols, the standard power cell is the smallest one manufactured by Boromov Technologies, allowing for 5 full power shots or 10 stun level shots before requiring replacement. And while the larger power cells can be used with the pistol, under normal circumstances this is not recommended because they also unbalanced the pistols and significantly reduce their accuracy. In low or zero gee operations this off balancing does not occur.

BKMS 630S

  • Description: Blocky, rugged and large, this dull gray pistol has been competently maintained and is in good condition. Crafted from reinforced composites, creating a weapon designed to take a great deal of abuse and remain operational. Its optics and power systems are located forward of the sculpted trigger guard and grip, which is wrapped with a knurled rubber covering, providing more sure handling. The weapons power cell is slotted in from beneath, allowing for a quick exchange of cells during combat. To demonstrate the flexibility of the entire family of weapons, initial demonstrations also noted that the larger long arm power cells could also fit, but were not recommended because they also unbalanced the pistols, significantly reducing their accuracy. That is until a few asteroid miners got a hold of both pistols and the extended capacity clips and proved that in a weightless environment this was no longer a problem. Thus the Ungstiri Militia now keeps a handful of large cells available for boarding or extra-vehicular operations. The powercell fitting is one standard in the engineering field, giving the weapon the ability to use power cells of different capacities and manufacture. Common accessories used with the BK-MS Soldat pistols includes a small targeting laser mounted below the primary discharge port or a supplemental targeting scope for special operations. The weapon reflects the environment of the Rock, and is fully rated for zero gee and null atmosphere combat, and its grips and triggers sized for use with atmosphere, worksuit and survival suit gloves.

CFF 75 KMPS Railgun

  • Description: This longarm is an elegant and deadly weapon. The twin steel bars of its powerful linear accelerator are exposed, brightly polished steel. They are long and narrow, the bottom edges sharpened, the leading edge of both knocked back to form a brutal point. Like a sword's blade they are, rising from the trigger guard and stock assembly, which has been carefully sculpted to serve both as a firing platform and as a hilt. A small scope and rangefinder rises above the railgun's vented primary accelerator, and below is the receptor for the guns forward curving magazine. The first portion of the accelerator is wrapped in leather, allowing for a ricassoed grip when using the gun in hand-to-hand combat. The weapon's high strength steel casing is stained in shades of green, accented with a flash of gold trim. More than just a close quarters assault rifle, this railgun is also an honor blade and work of martial art.
  • Information: First seen in the third quarter of 3004, the Clawed Fist Fleet 75KMPS railgun is a unique weapon system that distinctly fits the Nall military forces, balancing technological prowess, traditional tactical philosophy and the unique Naliese culture. Along with the Ungstiri, the Nall are the only other major power to truly exploit railgun/mass driver technology. Where the Ungstiri use railguns in support of their asteroid mining infrastructure, the Nall's advanced technology has allowed them to create powerful personal weaponry. At its core the CFF Railgun is a simple device. A high strength steel slug is accelerated to extreme speeds between a pair of magnetically charged steel rails, providing a rapid fire assalt type weapon with high penetration power. Roughly triangular in shape, razor sharp and aerodynamically designed, the slugs are designed for an accurate trajectory and to tumble upon impact for significantly greater damage. The gun's powerful linear accelerator rails are able to achieve a muzzle velocity of 7,500 meters per second, far faster than traditional assault weapons. Because of the slugs relatively lightweight profile, the railgun suffers from the similar concerns of the flechette pistol - a rapid fall off of accuracy at extreme and long ranges. The Nall, with their emphasis on close in combat, do not view this as a major disadvantage. What sets the 75KMPS railgun apart from other weapons are the twin rails themselves. Almost two feet lont, the rails are configured in parallel, each with the underside edged and the top front edge broken back, creating a very effective cutting and stabbing blade. When not being used as an asault weapon, the gun also serves as an extremely effective longsword. The shoulder stock and trigger guard assembly has been designed to double as a sword hilt and guard. In addition the first portion of the acclerator rails are wrapped in leather, similar to an old style ricassoed greatsword. This provides a two handed grip with high leverage, allowing a skilled Nall to punch through most modern armors.

ETLS 60mJ Plasma Pistol

  • Description: Crafted of brushed steel and advanced composites, this heavy pistol is sleek with a deadly appearance. Competently maintained and constructed, it is in good condition. It has a heavy recurved trigger guard, designed for a two handed grip while wearing combat gloves. Above and behind is the gun's safety and power toggle, and the grip it self is wrapped with a knurl-textured rubberized covering. A single slotted telltale monitors the weapon's status. Most distinctive, however, is its thick barrel, with twin magnetic accelerator rings, perforated heat sinks and broke back stub nose, hallmarks distinctive of plasma weaponry.
  • Information: Plasma weapons deliver a bolt of highly ionized gas, commonly known as plasma, which causes significant heat and energy damage upon impact. The plasma is created within the weapon's micro-reactor, similar to the plasmas found in a fusion power plant. High capacity superconducting magnets first concentrate the plasma bolt and then accelerate it towards the target, similar to a linear accelerator or railgun. Each bolt's lifespan can be measured in terms of micro-seconds, just long enough to be created and reach its intended target. Because of the high energys involved, plasma weaponry is expensive, requires a high degree of care to maintain combat performance, has a longer recharge period between shots, have a low per shot capacity using standard power cells and becomes dangerous to the user is misused or mistreated. On the positive side is the heavier damage the weapon delivers per shot, to both personnell and equipment. Plasma weapon power cells have a 5 shot capacity. The weapon emits a loud, distinctive hum and vibrates while recycling.

Phase 1 Specialized Stun Gun

  • Description: A small and elegently designed pistol, made of a dark green hard plastic. The front of the weapon terminates in a cresent, with the tip arc of being closest to the stock. The two bolts rest safetly inside of a small plastic overhang, protecting them from damage. It has been competently maintained and is in good condition. The grip has a knurled rubburized wrap, and above is a single status telltale and the gun's power slide and safety.
  • Information: The Phase 1 Specialised Stun Gun was created with the sole intentions of making a weapon specialised for the Demarian Militia. A non-lethal weapon that could easily be carried and concealed by diplomats, high ranking officers and other members who could be deemed at risk. It operates on the same principle as a standard stun by delivering a strong electric shock to the target. This brand of stun gun is also effective against Phyrrians, robotic and electronic devices. Currently, the Phase 1 Stungun is pending approval on a Production Contract with the Demarian Militia. As such, it is not an official armament of members of the Militia.

RNS Fleet Mk6 Pistol

  • Description: A Fleet Mk 6 pistol that has been competently maintained. Its grip is textured by quality pseudo-rubber and the trigger guard is slightly elongated for a comfortable two-handed grip. Power cells snap in and out of their slots with ease, and the status screen offers a clear readout. Vents appear as horizontal slashes on the barrel of the gun.
  • Information: The standard-issue officer sidearm of the Homeland Naval Service, the Fleet Mk6 Officer Sidearm is the first Multimode weapon to be released for general fleet use. It replaces the venerable Mk3/Mk5 lethal and Mk4 nonlethal sidearms which had been in service for, in some cases, over 20 years. Though built on the same basic casing as the Mk 5, it has been heavily upgraded for better combat efficiency. A modified pulse assault pistols, it gives up the lightness which was a trademark of the older model for a more powerful midrange blast and better accuracy. The Royal Naval Service has just introduced these pistols, so they are available only in very limited quantities. Unauthorized possession of this weapon is a very serious offence on Sivad.

RNS Mk7 Rifle

  • Description: The longarm is large, and consists of two primary armamants mounted in an over and under configuration. The lower weapon is a traditional pulse rifle, with its powercell mounted just ahead of the grip and trigger guard assembly. The forward part of the lower barrel is wrapped with a rubberized knurled grip. Set above is a large caliber barrel, running over the assault rifle portion and into the stock. Set into the stock is a second box ammunition clip, a traditional bullpup configuration, sized and configured for large cased or caseless shells. Forward of that clip are two digital readouts, counting down charge and shells left for each clip. Atop the gun is what appears to be a compact but complex scope, but is in fact the weapon's operations computer, providing targeting and control for the gun's advanced features. A set of push buttons near the trigger toggles from pulse to projectile fire, while each clip has an additional telltale indicating its status as a backup. The casing of the gun is polished steel and high strength polymers seeming either adequately maintained or fairly new.
  • Information: The Darlington Armstech 20/20 Advanced Combat Rifle, produced under special Royal Dispensation as the Mark 7 Service Rifle, represents a major advancement in both weapons technology and combat philosophy. A large and relatively heavy weapon, the Mark 7 Rifle allow the individual Royal marine to become a flexible and highly mobile firebase for assault opertions, with a variety of tactical options for dealing with varied combat situations. The core of the weapon is a Darlington ArmsTech 20 megajoule pulse rifle, a reliable and sevicible weapon with a good service history. It has been upgraded to provide for both continuous and fully automatic fire. While the weapons rate of fire is still lower than that of a dedicated assault rifle, this increased output is done with no reduction of hitting power. Mounted above the pulse rifle is a second longarm, the one that give the weapon its true flexibility. A 20mm heavy projectile rifle, capable of firing cased or caseless specialty rounds. Simply put, the RNS marine is now a grenadier. The 20mm rifle has been developed to accept a variety of specialized shells, including the full range of grenade types. Swapping from one ammunition type to another is as simple as chaging out a magazine. What ties the system togetheris the weapons advanced targeting and battle computer. Mounted like a scope, its basic operations include the standard targeting enhancements, with no-light, infrared and thermal settings, with a laser target designator and rangefinder. The battle computer also allows the user to program the flight and operational parameters of the advanced 20mm rounds. This includes detonation, flight path and range settings. For example, a 20mm fragmentation shell can be programmed to make a low trajectory arc, and airburst 500 yards down range at a height of four feet, effectivly exploding right on top of a target crouching behind cover at 449 yards away.
