Log Formatting
Firstly, if you are reading this page we'll assume you are logging an event or scene that you were involved with or ran yourself, so for that I'd like to personally thank you! Logging might be a chore but it makes OtherSpace look great (busy busy) and some players really appreciate being able to see what kind of fun everyone else is getting up to. Secondly, it's also possible you are reading this because you want to follow a consistent theme in the scenes you are logging. Thanks for taking the time to keeping things looking great and looking consistent.
Also, in a big way (a BIG way) my obsessive, control freak nature would like to thank you a third time. Mucho mucho <3's - James.
Formatting your Title
Obviously, it will be on you to invent an appropriate title for your log (and trust me, it will be on you, unless you want a poorly punned parallel film title). If your log is split into different parts, however, it's common syntax to use a colon and a alphanumerical designation, like so:
Title: Part 2
Of course, you can use comma's and Roman numerals if you like.
Title: Part VII
Title; Part Three-Hundred-and-Ten
...but I will chase you down and murder you.
Fair Warning - <3
The InfoBox
The Log Infobox has been designed to give a clear header to every log for two reasons: firstly it can expand on information that is not readily available without it (characters involved, the air date or the location for example) and secondly it tells anyone who is searching through the Wiki that they have stumbled upon a player log and not lore.
It also looks pretty sweet!

Here is the exploitable version that you can copy and paste into the top of your log source.
{{Infobox Log |title = |summary = |cast = |air_date = |location = |setting = |contents = |exits = }}
Scene Changes
Scene changes occur.
Categories
Categorizing is important because it provides an additional method to searching through the Wiki. To categorize your log, you should first pick what category or categories it fits into, here is a list:
- OtherSpace Logs
- Fastheld Logs
To give a page a category is simple, all you have to do is write [[Category:Your Category Goes Here]]
Example:
[[Category:OtherSpace Logs]]
