Last Orders Tavern - Comorro Station - <Comorro Station>

While a decent number of people have filled the Tavern, the Opodian Narai stands on his chair in the center of the room with an ale in hand. A few people sitting at tables nearby listen to Narai rant and rave as he chugs down his ale. As usual (or at least as of late), the Opodian outsider shouts some sort of anti-Kamir speech to any who will listen. For the most part, those nearby pass off Narai as a drunken Opodian, others just think he is crazy.

It's long hours and never a dull moment working cargo in the hub, even on a day when surprise flood cleanup isn't finishing. Franceza enters the bar looking for some well deserved winding down. Did put on a clean shirt after a quick shower which still leaves her hair wet, points for her. Or maybe she learned from jeers in the past. Habit has her fingering the chained dog tag. What's out of the oridnary is her pace slowing when she picks up on what the Opodian is speeching about. A concerned frown starts, even as she pokes a listener in the shoulder, asks loud enough to be heard by others, "What's this all about."

"Oh my friends.. Friends with ears, friends with no ears! Friends with two eyes! Friends with six eyes!" The Opodian drunkenly muses, as he stumbles and almost face-plants into the floor below. After regaining his balance, he takes a good long chug of his ale and starts again. "The Kamir have long since left! But!.." Narai pauses, losing his train of thought in a drunken stuper. "But.. but... Oh.. But their legacy lives on! We must remove those who oppress us! Throw down our chains and reject the Kamir as our long standing gods for which we worship!"

"Ah." Patting the poked one on the same shoulder, Franceza nods. Needs all she needs to know. "You, get down before you break yer friggin' neck." Sniff. "Or... Before someone breaks it for you." She waves a hand at him. "Come down. Come..." Cooing, "Just a little step..."

Waving his hand at Franceza, more like waving at her to get away from him, the Opodian chuckles. "No! I shall not get down! They need to hear this! We all need to hear this!" Narai says, or more like shouts at the woman. "Barkeep! Get this woman a drink! Now!" He shouts, "And then sit down and listen." As he finishes, the chair tips over, tossing him to the ground. The Opodian hits the ground and laughs as his ale is spilled. "Another drink for all!" He shouts from the ground, which is followed by a cheer of the patrons. If you're going to bash the Kamir, at least keep everyone happy.

Franceza sighs, pinching her nose. "Gonna regret this, ain't I..." she tells the shoulder owner, but with a soft groan bends down to help the drunk up anyway. More like a hauling to feet - if he's liftable and doesn't decide to struggle. "You really should shut up now, or you'll either be a very beat up or very broke little Opodian... Guy." She checks to make sure, "Right?"

The bear-like creature chuckles for another moment before Franceza helps him up. As he gets to his feet, he almost falls straight forward but grabs the table. "Why would I worry about that, dear lady?" He says, pulling a chair slowly towards him so he can sit down. "Is what I say not the truth? Am I lying? Ask my people, sure, and they would say that. But every word I speak is truth." Narai says, as he hops on the table, motioning for the barkeep to bring him another drink. "Some are receptive, others are not. It is a fact of life. Where do you stand on this?"

Planting one hand at the hip, using the other to pull hair back from her face, Franceza looks at Narai with a slow slow head shake. "Get down," she tells him, a little less patient now, "Cause you need to get your audience pretty much backwards. /I/ ain't got no problem with the Kamir, none what so ever. And certainly ain't never been no dear lady." She flexes muscles, maybe just because she can. "Get down." She thinks. "Please."

As a new drink arrives at the table for Narai, he sits down in the chair - his feet not even reaching down to the floor. He brings his drink close, his two 'paws' grabbing the cup. "The Kamir have had a stranglehold on my people for so long. I nearly died. Opodi was no where to save me. Have I done something to displease the gods?" The drunken Opodian says, looking down at his drink. "My people worship a god who has abandoned them. We are capable of so much, but our religion holds us back." he shakes his head, "I am sorry, this is not your problem. You should not have to listen to it."

Breathing out slowly, Fran pastes a half smile to her lips and stares down at the Opodian. "And stay down." She nods, turns around a little irritated when she's served the drink Narai ordered her, but accepts it anyway. Only thing better than a beer is a free beer? "Listen... You," she murmurs after a sip, "Tone down a bit, they really ain't all bad. Got some of us here, that's a pretty decent thing."

"I shall not 'tone it down'. It must be heard." Narai says, taking a sip of his drink. "The truth must be heard, even if it means being beaten severely by some who may not agree." He shrugs, "But for now, I shall drink and be merry. I could die at any time. My god will not protect me." He takes another sip of his drink, looking across at the woman. "I am Narai."

Bending forward, Franceza brings her mouth right next to one of his ears and murmurs simply, slowly, in a very low tone of voice, "Yes. You are." Lifts the glass in a toast when she rises again, smirks, and walks towards the bar with a snickered, "Was nice knowing ya."

Confused and taken aback by the response of the woman, or perhaps just being overly drunk, Narai shakes his head. "I am? Of course I am!" He says, chuckling and sipping his drink. As the woman walks towards the bar, he offers a nod, and goes back to his drink, perhaps this time he will not start ranting and raving about the Kamir.
