Location Description

The main thoroughfare in the section of San Angeles commonly known as the Transport District (or, more colloquially, the Tran or the Tee), Crawford Street got its name as an homage to the chairman of the city planning council who died in 2428.

James Crawford, a prominent developer in southern California who helped engineer the formation of the San Angeles megalopolis, died of a massive heart attack just two days before workers planned to break ground on the megalopolitan interdistrict train system. His last words, it is said, were: "Alas, earwax."

Rhodes Square and Drescher Intersteller Spaceport can be seen to the west. Shops line the street, which leads off to the east. Steps lead down from the southern sidewalk into the metro station.
