Nobles are defined very simply: those whose mother and father were both nobility. Their role is to rule and manage the land and people of Fastheld. This is a very refined art, requiring proper adherence to rules and regulations. Marriages are often arranged, and women are held to a much higher standard than they are in the lower classes. There are around three to five thousand nobles in Fastheld.
