LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS – A teen was shot and killed by a Vanguard soldier last night, after allegedly throwing rocks from across the border into the Oklahoma territory.
The boy, 14-year-old Lexington Clay, died of his injuries at a local hospital. Vanguard officials say that the soldier, Lt. Omar Previn, feared for his life as other people appeared ready to join Clay in throwing rocks. After Previn opened fire, he reported, the others fled.
Clay’s parents insist that their son did nothing wrong and was shot for no other reason than being a Texan by birth.
