Buuur (in Eb dim 7) is an orange K-type star that is galactic northwest of the Cristata nebula, and galactic west of Hekayti space.

Planets

The Buuur system houses eleven planets, with the seven interior planets being rockballs, the eighth the semi-inhabitable Drrrn, the ninth a frozen methane/ammonia gasball, and the tenth and eleventh both rockballs. Each of these planets is considered to be a different named Spirit, as well as over four dozen nearby stars.

Moons

Drrrn has a single iron-core moon, Hooov (in A major 9) that produces severe tides.

History

Ancient History

• ~20000 BCE – Duuun (A minor 11) the Spiritkiller said to have lived. Duuun was said to have tamed two minor Spirits as fearsome pets, and roamed the countryside with its thunder club, made of pure meteoric iron. It had a sponsor in the Great Lichen Spirit Tuuuuh (Ab 5), who gave it the sight to see other spirits as they truly were. Duuun roamed the countryside, helping the good Spirits and vanquishing the evil ones. Duuun died in a pitched battle with the Great Nitric Acid Spirit Zuoooo (G dim 7), and as it melted, its body formed a perfectly symmetrical prayer mandala. The other Great Spirits took pity on Duuun for its final act of reverence, and took its lifestone up to form the star of its name.
• ~18000 BCE – Time of the Fateteller.
• 3671 BCE – The secretive wandering merchants called Buuuuur execute a coordinated strike against the Yuuuuna of the Longshift Mountains, separating them from their subjects and thus many supplies in a pincer maneuver. An elite group of seventeen Mrrriti managed to break the resulting siege, utilizing sheer strength and determination against the Buuuuur’s superior tactics. The Mrrriti’s battle prowess and lack of fear convinced much of the Slllasa to take arms against the Buuuuur, and the coup was quickly thwarted. What was left of the Buuuuur fled to the northwest and became even more secretive.
