Medlidikke in the Forgotten Quarter?
Posted By: Loki Article: MAR09-11 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Mon Mar 09 02:49:17 3009 Rumors abound in all corners of Comorro station, whispers that Medlidikke have been spotted in Comorro's Forgotten Quarter. Eyewitnesses from Comorro's docking hub say it was a young woman with an outrageous accent that stated that her captain was missing. Indeed security has confirmed for this reporter that one Captain Vadim Toastanovich has disappeared. When asked about it chief of security Jorg Nevetunglangflodledelkrig replied "We will do whatever we can to locate him, of course. However, the missing refugee dissapeared in the forgotten quarter and I must again stress that the area is dangerous and off-limits. Security cannot be responsible for the safety of anyone who chooses to enter."When asked about the possibility of Medlidikke actually being on Comorro station, the chief had this to say about it: "I find it implausible, but I am not rejecting the possibility out of hand. A vessel stolen by Medlidikke was allowed to dock recently, as you know. More likely there are a few young Verdikke posing as Medlidikke. Nevertheless, we take seriously the threat of possible infiltrators."The chief did go on to advise that refugees could be of the most help by cooperating with security and helping to police their own, keeping them out of the forgotten quarter, and keeping watch over their ships. This reporter will continue to bring you more news as it comes in.
Refugee reprieve announced
Posted By: Brody Article: MAR09-12 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Thu Mar 12 21:54:44 3009 COMORRO STATION - Just a little while longer. The Yaralu known as Comorro Station has reduced power to several non-essential systems and cut off air filtration in some parts of the Forgotten Quarter to extend for perhaps as long as two weeks the deadline for getting half the current refugee population onto a planet while she hunts for special tissue-cleansing insects. It is unknown how many casualties may result among the denizens of the Forgotten Quarter as a result of this action.
Wilting Blight Cured!
Posted By: Colchek Article: MAR09-13 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Fri Mar 13 12:32:19 3009 COMORRO STATION - A cure for the Wilting Blight that has plagued Muscipula for several weeks has been found on Comorro Station as well as the source of the plague itself. Torlonodae, a Muscipulan seed trader known to frequent Comorro, succumbed to the blight and was rushed to the clinic on board the station. Refugee doctors Alastair Hall and Snowstreak Slypaw began an investigation into the disease immeditately and their efforts proved fruitful. Among the refugees were a group known to be from a primitive world, and the tests showed that members of this group were carriers of the virus that became the Wilting Blight.Fortunately, they had built up immunity to the virus after lifetimes of exposure and their antibodies proved valuable in creating the cure. Being the closest on-hand patient, Torlonodae was administered the cure and has since recovered. Reports are that the cure is being synthesized in sufficient quantities for transport to Muscipula, where the death toll from the Blight currently stands at over 1000. "My thanks goes to these doctors who never gave up their efforts. Now I shall take the fruits of their work home where thousands will be able to find relief at last." Torlonodae was quoted as saying from his clinic bed where he continues to build up strength after his recovery.

It's too early to be specific, he says."I have a plan, certainly, but first there are theories to explore, experiments to conduct, and results to digest," he said.Tudom expects to open his new office in the refugee enclave within the next week.
Denziens of the Forgotten Quarter Surfacing?
Posted By: Loki Article: MAR09-15 Reported To: CNB Reported On: Comorro Reported At: Thu Mar 26 08:27:56 3009 Two times within the past two weeks Hekayti suspected to be from the Forgetten Quarter have made their presence on Comorro known. The first, an interruption during a recruiting attempt by Virtual Creation Studios, has been brushed off as a lot of blustering with no action."He said he was going to turn us in for that bounty the Medlidikke are offering," Sabrina Bradly, CEO of VCS, told reporters in an interview. "His pretty words are not going to keep me from running a successful business."This last weekend a second appearance was made, this time a kidnapping attempt on Miss Emma Johanson, Head of PR for VCS. It is rumored that she was assisted by a mysterious hooded woman who might be security for VCS."We do take the safety of our patrons and our future employees very seriously. To ensure that everybody there is able to have a safe fun environment, additional security will be brought in for the convention this weekend."Anybody wishing to help with this effort or to help with the convention in any other manner is encouraged to contact Miss Bradly.
