A prominent purveyor of holovid cameras, broadcast transmitters, and computer hardware, Maxon Media is one of the oldest companies operating in the Stellar Consortium.
Founded in 2154, the company was the brainchild of Ronda Maxon, whose electronics genius led to the invention of the interstellar commnet transmitter two years earlier. It was her voice famously heard in the broadcast from Earth to an experimental listening post on Centauri, when she said: "Should I pack a jacket when I come to visit?"
Here on the 14th floor of the Nepos Building, one finds the galactic corporate headquarters, where the board of directors manages an extensive chain of stores, factories, and Vanguard military contracts.
