Arc I: The Price of Expedience (Game Year 2650) - The players learn that the treacherous Il'Ri'Kamm Hive Mind uses its control over OtherSpace Drives to hijack ships for use in a genocidal war against an ancient enemy, the B'hiri. Working together, the players avoid killing the last of the B'hiri (Okaskatitch), and use a psionic bomb to - apparently - destroy the Hive Core.

Arc II: Walls Fall Down (Game Year 2651) - Everything gets topsy-turvy during this arc, with ships hurtling across the galaxy into the territory of the warmongering Kretonians, the destruction of Val Shohob (Mystic homeworld), the near-collapse of the Stellar Consortium in the wake of the Bright Horizon's cloning scandal, the revolution and independence of the subject worlds of the Parallax, and the obliteration of Lord Fagin's underground palace on Tomin Kora.

Arc III: Pandora's Lament (Game Year 2651) - A madman named Laurence Montevedo rises to power on Sivad - forcing Consortium President Dahan and the rest of the Council to make war on a member world in order to liberate it. The Kamir, transdimensional entities who created the Il'Ri'Kamm Hive Mind eons ago, summon a group of people to offer apologies for the transgressions of the Hivers.

Arc IV: From the Ashes of the Phoenix (Game Year 2651) - During this arc, it is eventually learned that one Hiver still survives beneath the radioactive ruins of Washington, D.C. Players must violate regulations against entering the ruins to find the Hiver, learn its secret (that Hivers and Kamir have been locked in a battle of wills over the fate of mankind and other races for at least six centuries), and get out alive. It's near the end that they first confront one of Dimitri Volstov's genetically engineered Legion warriors.

Arc V: Into the Silent Land (Game Year 2651) - The Kretonians begin their bloody rampage through the known worlds during this arc, which also sees the destruction of Lord Fagin's luxury liner, the Galore, and his planetoid refuge between two black holes, Odysseus. Oswald Cottington IV holds a lottery for those who want to board the Sanctuary colony vessel. With the Kretonians closing in, Sanctuary just barely escapes Sol System - and an OtherSpace Drive malfunction causes her to flip into the territory known as Hiverspace (where players in Arc I met the B'hiri). [In a fairly ambitious move, we packed *everyone* from the MUSH aboard Sanctuary for the next two story arcs.]

Arc VI: Sanctuary (Game Year 2652) - The colony vessel's journey takes it from the ruins of B'hira to the volcanic world of Yptarn to the Realm of the Dead. New enemies surface in the form of the malevolent Thul - slug-like minions of the Hivers - and a human named Duke Buchanan, who leads a xenophobic organization known as the Society for Human Integrity and Purity.

Arc VII: Uncertain Voyage (Game Year 2652) - The denizens of Sanctuary begin their quest to find elusive Comorro Station and, presumably, the devious Thul who presumably hold the key to returning the colony ship to the home universe. Lord Fagin and Dimitri Volstov are found to be living within the infrastructure of Sanctuary. Their frozen bodies are traded to the Thul in exchange for Sanctuary's return to normalspace.

Arc VIII: No Place Like Home (Game Year 3000) - Sanctuary returns to find that home isn't what it used to be. The once alien-friendly Stellar Consortium has become the xenophobic Solar Consortium. The Mystics have been hunted to near extinction by the Kretonians and the Centaurans, and have survived only because of an alliance with the Qua. The Demarians seem to have vanished, mostly, their world left in a shambles. The Nall, once bent on conquest of the known worlds, became the salvation of the known worlds by eradicating the Kretonians. With the arrival of Sanctuary, the Solar Consortium began to collapse, as Mars broke off to form its own republic, and the madmen in power in the Consortium picked fights with just about every planet in the cosmos. In the end, the madmen died, Mars gained its independence. And the Ri'Kammi Hive Mind, revived and thriving on the planet Sagittarius once more, manipulated the Centaurans into attacking Sanctuary, only to be turned back by a group of Mystics and friendly Centaurans. See the quick theme overview.

Arc IX: Unraveled Dreams and Forgotten Obligations (Game Year 3000) - In the wake of conflict and unrest, the known worlds confront an ancient secret.

Arc X: Eyes in the Shadows. Gustav Eiger, the madman behind the bombing of Earth in the year 3000, is on the loose. Boss Cabrerra established the domed city of Shadowheart on Tomin Kora, hiring Colin Neidermeyer as a right-hand man. The Martian Legions go hunting for a solution to the built-in demise of Specialists. And the Nall, once content to mind their own business, become enraged by the aggression of Ungstir's Lord Boromov. In the end, beneath the desert sands on Demaria, hundreds of cryogenically frozen warriors are found.

3001 CE Arc X.5: Dark Alliance. Gustav Eiger, destroyer of Earth and Specialist serial killer, has died. The Nall have relinquished their hold on Ungstir. Beneath the Sand Mother Desert, a Demarian expedition has discovered the cryogenically frozen warriors left to fight an enemy now long dead. Now, the fallen Boromov family begins its struggle to rebuild with the help of the upstart Cabrerra organization.

3001 CE Arc XI: Rage of the Furies. The Lem'ing, last encountered by players during the fourth story arc, begin their assault on the known worlds. La Terre is obliterated by its sovereign, Bartholomew Ritter. The Vanguard Exploration Service is formed. And, on Ungstir, a citizen's committee begins the process of rebuilding what was ravaged by the Nall.

3001 CE Arc XI.5: Storm Warning. The Lem'ing have been turned back after inflicting their wrath on many of the known worlds, concluding their effort with a hard-fought conflict at Nalhom that left the Parallax homeworld struggling to rebuild its mighty fleet. But other challenges remain and tensions continue to rise. And the Mystics gathering on distant Val Shohob speak of a coming fight between powerful enemies - and all corporeal life will be caught in the middle.

3002 CE Arc XII: The Marionette's Last Dance. Tensions remain high between the Martians and the Nall since the theft of technology from Nalhom was discovered to have involved a prominent member of the Martian Legions, bringing the known worlds once more to the brink of an interstellar conflict. As predicted by the Mystics, the Kamir and Hivers engages in an epic war that threatens to destroy the universe. With the help of the Vanguard, the two races fight to extinction, ending the OtherSpace Drive legacy.

3002 CE Arc XII.5: Ascendancy. The Kamir and their creations, the Il'Ri'Kamm Hive Mind, have perished on Nocturn - leaving the galaxy without functioning OtherSpace Drives and creating a transport crisis. The VES Minerva, lost since the Battle of Nocturn, finds itself at a Nexus of universes, and must make ready for her odyssey home. Intrigues on Shinara Station, Luna and Demaria continue in spite of the drastic changes.

3002 CE Arc XIII: Song for the Lost. Eye Balthazar of the Mystics has died, and his people find themselves struggling for a sense of purpose in the aftermath of the Hiver and Kamir eradication. Oswald Cottington IV begins an ambitious project to move Concordance Station - formerly Sanctuary - to a new location. The influence of Boss Cabrerra grows. The VES Minerva explores alien universes in search of a gateway that can lead them back home, discovering the alternate universes created by the Kamir. Cross, Staunton, and Vasya are kidnapped by a bitter Lord Fagin, who buys his way into realspace.

3002 CE Arc XIV: The Moebius Effect. The Centaurans invent a time-twisting Moebius Device, which falls into the wrong hands and leads to the Moebius Effect, beginning with Earth and ultimately spreads as far as Mars before it can be stopped. An alternate Earth, where Colin Neidermeyer rules first as president and then as king, materialized. When Neidermeyer imprisons aliens in work camps and threatens to attack Luna and other worlds, the Nall invade. Neidermeyer flees. The OtherSpace Ring network explodes, stranding the Nall Vox Ulka of Hatch Kithar in the Sol system. A new Vox, Ock of Hatch Vril, is named on Nalhom. Civil war erupts among the Nall. And then come the Kretonians, again, to take advantage of the conflict. In the end, the Kretonians and Nall fight to a draw, and local rebels drive them off. Neidermeyer sets off plasma bombs all over the new Earth, repeating history in the name of pride.

3003 CE Arc XV: The Gate of Breath. Oswald Cottington, builder of Sanctuary, survives an assassination attempt and a stroke. He decides to capitalize on Nocturn's proximity to the multiverse nexus. Fitting the colony vessel with a new Spindrive, he turns Sanctuary around and embarks on his final journey. Upon arriving at Nocturn, however, the colony vessel is swarmed by warships of the Nall Clawed Fist Fleet. Cottington surrenders to Vox Ock of Hatch Vril, but is shot and killed while attacking a traitorous Light Singer interogator named Volari, who becomes Sanctuary's new overseer. The Nall becomes aggressive again and conquer Grimlahd, Vollista, and Val Shohob. Ex-Vox Ulka, who took refuge on Sanctuary, eventually challenges her Counter-Vox, and wins the fight to the death against Ockvril. The Nall retract their influence and return to their reclusive selves, but not before destroying Sanctuary with a plasma bomb.

3003 CE Arc XVI: The Fountain of Wisdom. The gates are open. The prophecies have spoken. The race is on. Doorways to multiple alien universes have been opened. Allies and enemies alike seek to use the new realms to their advantage. And one among them seeks a powerful artifact that will allow him to reign over all. Can he be stopped?

3003 CE Arc XVII: Contagion. The year is 3003. Although faster-than-light travel, nanotechnology, cloning and other scientific marvels abound, some things don't change. In a galaxy of scattered alien worlds, political and military conflicts overshadow the astounding potential for enlightenment. The Orion Arm Treaty Organization, led chiefly by the planet Sivad, has declared war against King Colin Neidermeyer's Solar Consortium, which controls a decimated Earth, a liberated Luna, and a restored terraformed Mars. The conflict erupted over the Maltarian Empire's refusal to abandon its foothold in Sol System, on Ganymede. The opposing forces are gearing up for a full-fledged interstellar war, which threatens to spread beyond just local aggression. And, meanwhile, a mysterious flu-like illness has begun to spread throughout the known worlds. Strife and disease: Two contagions that could tear the galaxy apart.
