Plosa Nebula

Over 11,000 sectors in width, this massive asteroid-scattered pink and plum nebula was once known for its vast mineral wealth, and many miners and miscreants still roam its depths in hopes of discovering another profitable asteroid field within. It is infamous as the nebula in which a Hekayti medical frigate is caught in the crossfire between Hiver-controlled mercenaries and a B'hiri relief caravan, spurring the Hekayti to join the Hiver war. It continued to serve as an effective forward position for Hivers, Hekayti and B'hiri up until the end of the Hiver War.

In 2631, the Plosa Plaza was built just to the galactic east of the nebula, serving as a posh, heavily-guarded office station for only the wealthiest companies.
