The town center is not that busy right now. Most people are in there homes eating dinner or on their way home right now. One person is looking around at the architecture of the city. This is a Idaran male with silvery scales and black colored clothing resembling combat gear but without any of the actual weapons.
Horatio walks around the town center, all clad in some sort of outdated uniform and wearing a bicorne hat. He doesn't seem to be wearing any weapons as well, but there is a look on his eyes that shows he is acquainted with the ways of war. The man stops close to the Idarian, waving and watching him for a moment, "Excuse me... sir? I am looking for a good place to work on, do you happen to know someone who is looking for this kind of help?"
Qraco'Xar looks to Horatio and shakes her head. "No I am afraid I do not know anyone who might be searching for someone to work for them. But then again I do not know many people myself. I have only recently arrived to this world myself." he says.
Horatio nods, removing his hat and scratching his head, "I'm on the same situation, just a few days since I have arrived on this planet. It's being a bit hard to settle on such... different tides." He says, adding politely "Am I disturbing you?"
Qraco'Xar Shakes his head again. "You're not disturbing me. I would have already said so if you did." he says. "Mind if I ask how you arrived here?"
Horatio offers Qraco'Xar a brief smile, "I got a transport ship, but prior to that I got caught on a... rift, I believe that's the name. I haven't been born in this time, but I'm rather a native to Earth, in a time where war raged most countries and men sailed on the seas rather than the skies and above."
Qraco'Xar nods "I know the rifts you talk about. My kind used them to travel to this universe as well. However they caused some trouble and ended up having to leave without talking me along with them."
Horatio raises a brow, obviously interested, "It's there a way to control them?" He questions, "I have always thought it was a trick of the Frogs, to prevent valiant men from battle, but it seems I was wrong somehow."
Qraco'Xar raises his shoulders. "i'm not sure if they can realy controll it it is a force of nature after all. from what I understand anyway. Some people have made machines to help Starships travel trought the rifts. But I do not know the details of such devices."
Horatio nods, visibly disappointed with the outcome of his question, "And I'm not sure whether I would trust a machine like this, who knows where I would end up?" He questions, "So we both have been prevented to contacting those who are close to us."
Qraco'Xar sighs a bit. "Sounds like you left a lot of people behind?"
