Xanya's Guide to Organizations
In this guide I will tell you a bit about organizations, what they are, tips on how to join them or even some tips on how to start one yourself.
What are organizations?
Organizations are a part of the universe and often provide the public with different services. Some are production companies and provide the public with products. Other organizations have grown and become empires providing people a place to live.
Joining an existing organization
If you want to become part of one such organization then here are some tips for you.
First I'd say try to do some research and find out what kind of organizations there are and what they do. One of the places where you can find this info in on the wiki pages, although the forums might help out as well. Asking people in-game is also a good way to find out what organizations are in play these days and also how active they are.
When you have this info you can contact the leaders or anyone else of one or more of those organizations and ask them any questions you might still have. One of those questions can be: Do you need people to help you out? or ...Do you require my services?

Starting one yourself
Sometimes you rather start one yourself. when you want to go this way then I have some thoughts that might help you out.
Before you actually start an organization I'd say you need to do some things in preparation of this. First thing I did was think about what I wanted to do with my organization and how it could help the public. I asked myself questions like: What service do I want to provide to the public? How many people would I need to help me with that? What do those people need to be able to do to successfully help me out?
There are probably more questions you can think of but let's start with these ones.
What service do I want to provide to the public?
This question was the first one I asked myself. I knew quickly it was to provide a range of products to the people. But in your case it could be something else. Like starting an empire to go with the planet you just found. In either case think of how the services of your organization might affect the public. Like do people need this service? Is there really a market for it?
How many people would I need to help me with that?
This question is directly tied to the amount of people that eventually start working for you. It is also an important question since I believe you need at least 3 people in any organization before it will be accepted in-game.
What do those people need to be able to do to successfully help me out?
You can also ask yourself the question: What jobs do I need to make my organization work? This can be answered with jobs like Security and/or Medical personnel, Engineers, Pilots, and so on. When you know what jobs you need to also know how many people you need in your organization.
Once you have asked yourself these and probably more questions write them down so you won't forget what you came up with. When you have your idea of what kind of how many people you need and what they should be able to provide your organization, go out and ask around if people wish to help you out with your organization.
When you have your group of people to help you out you can ask your organization to be a proved. You can do this by either making a +str or send an @mail to brody. In this message you should provide at least the number of people that will help you out and possibly there names to. and what your organization will be doing or what services they will provide.
OH, I forgot the most important thing of creating your organization. NAME it.
Naming your organization
When naming your organization you should follow some basic rules. The most important rule I can think of is that you should not give your organization a name that will or might offend people. Be careful with this part. You don't want to end up having to rename your organization do you?
Second I believe you should name the organization in a way you like but also In a way that will or can provide the public with an insight of what your organization does or stands for. You can also just name it a way you like without it telling people what it is your organization does. Thought I think it can help your organization if people know what you do and a name can greatly help with that.
